My work deals in slippages: perceptual slippage, cognitive slippage, temporal slippage. These slippages create gaps. They expose gaps: presumptuous gaps, memorial gaps, surprising gaps. I'm interested in art, not as a context, but as an arena, both isolated and derived from the mundane of the everyday. I'm interested in potentials: the domestic potential of painting, the adaptive potential of installation, the intimate potential of video.
